Let's say my opponent uses a Dark Magician deck and goes first. He activates Dark Magic Circle, activates Legion the Fiend Jester then Tribute Summons a Dark Magician Girl and adds Dark Magician Girl from his deck to his hand then ends his turn.
On my turn I summon Edea to summon Eidos then tribute both squires for Erebus then sends Pantheism and Prime Monarch from my deck to the Graveyard to shuffle a random card from my opponent's hand into the deck. I attack his Dark Magician Girl to destroy it and end my turn.
My opponent draws into Eternal Soul and sets it then ends his turn.
I draw into Thestalos level 6 Monarch and tribute summon via banishing Eidos from the graveyard to bring out Edea which brings another Eidos from the deck. My opponent activates Eternal Soul to banish Erebus.
On my opponent's turn he activates his Eternal soul to try to banish Thestalos. Can I activate Ehther's quick effect in the hand to tribute Thestalos to save him from being banished since Eternal Soul and Ehther's quick effect are speed spell 2 or will Thestalos be banished but Ehther will be tribute summoned via sending Thestalos to the banish zone?

- In further questions, please avoid redundant situation set-up.
- "Banished Zone" does not exist. Pleae refer to it as "banished cards".
