If i discard Gold-Wu-Lord of dark world from my hand due to depth amulet, does goldd's affect activate? or does it count as a cost? —This unsigned comment was made by IMAJO (talk • contribs)
- You should read the rulings before asking, if you missed it and then ask, then you should sign your forum posts:
- "Discarding 1 card is not a cost. It is part of the resolution of the effect."
- Alternatively, you could have read the card carefully:
- "When an opponent's monster declares an attack, you can discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard and negate the attack."
That 'and' tells you that it's part of the effect and not a cost. Falzar FZ 09:14, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
