Forum:Arc V- plot holes

I don't know how many of you are watching the new anime, but I think it's going good and that they are doing a good job. yet the whole multi dimensions plot has a severe hole in it, and if the evidence we have is to be believed, some things simply don't add up. If the fusion dimension (duel Academy) and synchro dimension 9New Domino City) are separate how is it that twice in GX yugi and Jaden interacted, Kaiba is the academy's founder if those 2 are really separate. Then how is it that the synchro dimension is supposed to be separate from the other 2, when evidence suggests 5ds is set in the future New Domino City-the same one present in the original series. You really jumped the gun. You assume that the Fusion Dimension's Academia is the same as the one in GX, while there is absolutely no actual proof of that (just a ton of expected references). It is the same with the other dimensions. We have no reason to believe that Standard or any of the other dimensions are the same as the other series. We also don't know if the Jack Atlas that will appear is the same one from 5D's. It could easily be one from another timeline. NMBRHNTR64 (talk • contribs) 02:47, April 8, 2015 (UTC)

In summation, don't assume anything about this series. This is the same guy that brought us Z-one. Heck, I keep citing the use of Fusion Monsters in both 5D's and ZEXAL as proof that they're set in Standard and even then that could be blown wide open. Not to mention we don't know WHEN that jack is from, for all we know this could happen between the dark signer and WRGP arcs, there was a large timeskip there after all.

and of course, even assuming it was in the same Dimension as GX, you have to remember that there was multiple duel academies. To answer your question, the crimson dragon can clearly time travel, why wouldn't it be able to dimension jump too? and it can always be some parallel world theory where the whole franchise up to this point has been in standard and we are now seeing ALTERNATE versions of it.

WAAAAAY too soon to call anything a plot hole.
