Gandora (archetype)

"Gandora" (ガンドラ, Gandora) is an archetype of Level 8 DARK Dragon monsters with 0 ATK and DEF used by Yugi Muto, which consists of the original "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction" and its retrains.

Members have existed since The Valuable Book 8 promotional cards, but didn't receive support until the V Jump February 2017 promotional card.

Playing style[]

So far, all "Gandora" monsters have a nuking effect followed by an ATK gain, and the downside of halving the player's own LP.

Since the nuking effect of "Gandora Giga Rays the Dragon of Destruction" becomes more potent the more unique "Gandora" monsters in the Graveyard, using cards like "Foolish Burial" or "Trade-In" helps with consistency and power simultaneously.

Note that even if cards like "Macro Cosmos" help you to increase the ATK of "Gandora Giga Rays", they aren't recommended because they also prevent you from Special Summoning it.

Gandora-G the Dragon of Destruction	Destroy many other cards on the field as possible and then banish them.	300 ATK for each banished card.
