Darklord Angels are a series of DARK Fairy-Type monsters used by Midori Hibiki in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga. Darklord Zerato and Nurse Reficule the Fallen One are also "Fallen Angel" monsters, but are not used by Midori. Much of they effects are focus to send or summon Fallen Angels from the Graveyard. Much of this Archetype have been released as V-Jump Magazine Promotional Cards recently this year.
[edit] Play Style
The Darklord Angels have a few things in common: in addition to being DARK Fairies, they all have high levels (ranging from 5 to 10) and high ATKs to match. Also, some of them, such as Fallen Angel Superbia, can swarm the field. Recommended cards include:
- Trade-In as draw power and to load the graveyard with monsters:
- Athena to bring out powerful Fairies:
- Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen with Hecatrice to search it, to easily special summon the Fairies:
- Card of Safe Return, to maximize the usefulness of summoning monsters from the grave:
- The Creator/The Dark Creator, both for swarming the field and compatibility with Trade-In.
[edit] Disputed Cards
Marie the Fallen One - Although she has 「堕天使」in her Japanese Name, she isn't a Fallen Angel because of her Type which is Fiend.
