Errata

Errata is the term used to describe the reprinting of a card with different lore, ATK/DEF values or stars.

There are many reasons why this may be done:

• Correcting misspellings. [eg. Riryoku Field]
• Correcting erroneous instructions. [eg. Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus]
• Simplification/clarification of instructions [eg. Jetroid]
• Update to newer wording patterns [eg. Cyber Dragon]

Some cards have been reprinted multiple times either to fix new problems or update the card [e.g. Mystic Swordsman LV4].

It is customary to update the Errata if the card is released in a new reprint set, or as a new promo (Such as with the Champion Packs), but not if existing booster packs are reprinted (Such as when Invasion of Chaos got reprinted and went to IOC-ENXXX).
