Djinn of Rituals, known as "Ritual Genie" (()(しき)()(じん) Gishiki Majin) in the Japanese version, is a series of DARK Fiend-Type monsters released in the Booster Packs Stardust Overdrive and Absolute Powerforce, and gained another member on The Duelist Advent. They each share the effect text "When you Ritual Summon a Ritual Monster, you can banish this card from your Graveyard as one of the monsters required for the Ritual Summon.", followed by their individual effects, which are given to the Ritual Monster they were used to Summon. The 6 "Djinn of Rituals" released are "Djinn Releaser of Rituals", "Djinn Presider of Rituals", "Djinn Cursenchanter of Rituals", "Djinn Disserere of Rituals", "Djinn Prognosticator of Rituals" and "Djinn Demolisher of Rituals". The purpose of these Monsters is to make Ritual Summoning more viable.

Visually, all Djinn of Rituals monsters resemble strange, obese humanoids wielding weapons or magical tools. Their bodies are usually one single predominant color. Every Djinn has a skull somewhere on their weapon:

Each Djinn has a different Level and effect, having a dynamic engine to summon and boost Ritual Monsters:

  • "Releaser": Level 3, your opponent cannot Special Summon.
  • "Presider": Level 4, draw 1 card when the Ritual Monster destroys a monster by battle.
  • "Curse Enchanter": Level 4, negate the effects of Synchro Monsters.
  • "Prognosticator": Level 3, your opponent discards 1 card when they take battle damage.
  • "Disserere": Level 1, Ritual Monster not affected by Trap Cards.
  • "Demolisher": Level 3, the Ritual Monster can't be targetted by your opponent's card effects.
