  • This monster's effect to destroy a face-up card on either player's turn parallels the Dragon's mystical abilities. In The Great Race, the Dragon was heavily favored to win the race due to the fact that it could fly, but when it crossed the finish line, the Jade Emperor who organized the race inquired why did it take the Dragon as long as it did to finish the race. It said it summoned rain to quell flames in a nearby village and as it was nearing the finish line, it noticed how the Rabbit was struggling on a log in the river. It blew a gust of wind to help the Rabbit get to the other end of the river, and the emperor pleased by these two acts of kindness gives the Dragon the fifth spot in the Chinese Zodiac.
