- This card is an "Xyz" version of "Divine Wrath".
- This card is a watered-down version of "Divine Wrath". It still requires a discard, affects only level 5 or higher monsters, and requires an Xyz Monster to be on the field; this makes it much less splashable than its superior counterpart. However, it is a Continuous Trap.
- "Evolzar Solda" and "Cannon Soldier MK-2" are featured in this card's artwork, in a parody of "Divine Wrath", as "Cannon Soldier" was in the original.
- This card shares some similarities with "Steelswarm Roach": This card requires an Xyz Monster while "Roach" is an Xyz Monster, and both effects work against Level 5 and higher monsters, to destroy them.
