- Currently, this card, along with "Majestic Star Dragon", "Majestic Red Dragon", "Ally of Justice Decisive Armor","Fabled Leviathan" "Thor, Lord of the Aesir", "Loki, Lord of the Aesir" and "Odin, Father of the Aesir" is the third highest Level of any Synchro Monster in the game, behind "Red Nova Dragon", "T.G. Halberd Cannon", "Shooting Quasar Dragon" at Level 12 and "Celestial Dragon" at Level 11.
- This is one of four Synchro Monsters that can only be summoned via Synchro Summon. The other three are "Ally of Justice - Field Marshall", "T.G. Halberd Cannon" and "Shooting Quasar Dragon".
- Currently, there is at least one three-headed Dragon-Type monster for five Monster Card categories: This card, "Atomic Scrap Dragon", and "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" for Synchro Monsters, "Yamadron" for Normal Monsters, "Montage Dragon" for Effect Monsters "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" for Xyz Monsters, and "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and "Dragon Master Knight" for Fusion Monsters.
- Both "Magna Drago" and "Tyrant Dragon" may be the most related Dragons to this card since both monsters share the same attribute and type with "Trident Dragion" and that their Levels combined make exactly ten. In addition, "Tyrant Dragon" and "Trident Dragion" are similar since they can both attack more than once and require you to get rid of at least one of your own cards when they're special summoned a certain way.
- This card's artwork may be based on King Ghidorah, a Daikaiju from the Godzilla franchise, he is considered one of the most popular monsters in the franchise, alongside the likes of Mothra and Godzilla.
- This is one of a very small number of cards that can perform an OTK using only its own effect.
