• In mathematics, topology is the study of the properties of space that are preserved under continuous deformations. This is referenced by this monster's tail being the shape of a Möbius strip and the protrusions in the shoulders being shaped like a Klein bottle.
    • Also in topology and knot theory, a branch of mathematics, the trefoil knot is the simplest example of a nontrivial knot. This is referenced by the shape of the energy that seems to be generated by the monster's right arm.
    • Furthermore, the knot in the card's artwork and Link Summoning in general may also reference to the concept in mathematical knot theory called a link, which is just a collection of knots which do not intersect, but which may be linked together.
    • Following the computer network themed cards, a network topology could be disabled or affected by one of the nodes being affected. As per this card's effect, when a monster is Special Summoned in a zone a Link Monster points to, a disturbance is applied on the field.
    • Aside from topology, this card may also be named after logic bomb, a type of computer virus or malware that starts automatically deleting files after a certain pre-programmed condition is achieved, similar to how this card automatically destroy all monsters on the field when the condition of one monster being summon to its arrows is met.
  • This is one of the few cards that has retained "Bomb" or "Bomber" in its TCG card name, as most other cards have their names altered.
