  • In terms of this monster's visual design, it also bears a strong resemblance to Osamu Tezuka's manga character "Pluto"—the main villain of the famous "Greatest Robot in History" arc of the Astro Boy franchise—as well as Naoki Urasawa's re-imagining, also titled Pluto. While the creatures differ in that Tezuka's character is a robot and "The Suppression Pluto" is organic-looking, the two share similar designs, demonic forms, and the use of extendable whips and horns in battle.
