- This monster appears in the artworks of "Discord Counter" and "Level Copy".
- This card is very similar to "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6". Both require one Tribute, have 2300 ATK and are unaffected by Spell Cards. This card, however, restricts only the opponent, but has a harder level up condition.
- This card is one of the few cards whose debut came out much earlier than its actual scheduled OCG/TCG card release. These types of cards are usually released in Flaming Eternity. Others include: "Meteor of Destruction", "Card of Sanctity", "Chiron the Mage", "Release Restraint" and "Gearfried the Swordmaster".
- This monster resembles Date Masamune from the anime Sengoku Basara. Date Masamune has blue clothes similar to this monster, and he also has the same eye covered.
