- The castle has been destroyed in "Rock Bombardment" and conquered in "Royal Surrender". This card is also shown in "Imperial Iron Wall" (Possibly before the Bombardment).
- The Emperor on the balcony is the same one featured in "Conscription".
- The king (and the castle) featured in "Royal Decree" is always retrated in a Trap Card, or a Trap Card that has something to do with other Trap Cards, like "Royal Decree" and "Royal Surrender". Similarly, the king featured on "Imperial Order" and "Spell-Stopping Statute" is retrated in a Trap Card that has something to do with Spell Cards.
- "Trap Stun" is a one turn version of "Royal Decree".
- This card artwork is based on the castle from Duelist Kingdom of the Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist! manga, Volume 1 Chapter 6.
