• Eingana, according to Australian Aboriginal mythology, is a creator goddess and the mother of all water, animals and humans. She is also a snake goddess of death, bearing a link of sinew connected to each living thing that, when she severs it, causes it to immediately die.
    • This is a parallel of sorts to this card's effect, as when it is sent to the Graveyard, it "severs its ties" with the opponent's monsters by destroying them.
  • The background on this card's artwork is similar to the environment where Yami Yugi dueled against Gansley. Gansley also used this card during the duel.
