  • The artwork book of Kazuki Takahashi released on December 2011 revealed that this card originally had the number "3" instead of "39", as the artwork shows "03" on Utopia's shoulder.
  • If one puts the words for "3" and "9" together, they form "sankyū", which sounds very similar to "Thank you", referencing how Yuma saves people from the "Numbers" (or other dilemmas) and is therefore a hero.
  • This monster appears to have taken its form and name from Yuma's kattobingu, as he never gives up until the very end.
  • "Numbers" take the form of their original owner desires. In this case, it is to remain strong, never give up, and protect. The result is a Warrior-Type monster who can negate attacks by detaching an Xyz Material from it, preventing monsters from being destroyed, and protecting a player from direct attacks.
    • This card's effect may represent Yuma himself, as by detaching one Overlay Unit, it negates an attack, protecting the monster or person being attacked, like how Yuma would go out of his way to protect his friends or anyone else; as well as his refusal to give up even when a situation is at its grimmest for him.
  • "Utopia" appears to be the most loyal Number to Astral. In episode 37, when Dark Mist attacked Astral, "Utopia" protected him. Also Utopia acted completely on his own as both Astral and Dark Mist were clearly surprised, implying that "Utopia", like "Number 83: Galaxy Queen" and "Dark Mist", has a mind of his own.
  • This card is the first card to be the Cover Card of two different Starter Decks.
  • This card is the second ace card of a main protagonist to have its name changed in the dub, the first being "Dark Magician".
