- The tablet in this card is the same one shown on "Energy-Absorbing Monolith". Both make a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Also, the monolith in this card's art is falling and crashing to earth (as revealed by the dust cloud and upturned dirt impact on the side of the monolith in the card in a way purposely suggesting a straight descent and impact). The fall damaged it and its original damage-converting nature is now corrupted and inverted from giving life to taking it, which references both said cards' effects being the inverse of each other.
