Cards used by Sherry LeBlanc were usually based on events that occurred throughout French history. This card's artwork possibly makes reference to Storming of the Bastille, an event that occurred during the French Revolution, when the Third Estate people invaded the French Bastille and freed the prisoners in that prison.
The original release of this card in the United States has an error in the text. Instead of returning to the Deck, as it should say, it says to return to the hand. This makes it one of a select group of cards that were errata-ed before being released in another set first.
