  • The 'Levia' part of this monster's name may be a derivation of Leviathan, a sea monster described in the Biblical Book of Job.
    • Leviathan means whale in Hebrew.
  • In Greek mythology, Daedalus was the father of Icarus and Iapyx, and is said to have designed the suit that aided in the inception of the Minotaur and designed the labyrinth in which the Minotaur was kept after birth.
  • The monster may also be named after the HMS Daedalus, which reported an encounter with a sea serpent.
  • In some of its Spanish prints, the card's lore uses the word "enviar" instead of "mandar", which is the word used in the Spanish TCG for "Send".
