- This card bears an uncanny resemblence to "Shadow Ghoul".
- The effect of the French version of this card could be traduced by "If this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard whereas it was face-up on the Field, you can use it to execute a Special Summon during your next Standby Phase", whereas the good lore would mean "If this face-up card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, Special Summon it during your next Standby Phase." Moreover, "Effet" ("Effect" in English) is written "Effekt".
- The colour scheme of this card is similar to that of "Summoned Skull".
- This monster's effect is a slightly watered-down version of "Vampire Lord's": "Vampire Lord" does not have to be face up to revive.
- Also, this card can only be Special Summoned from the field, while "Vampire Lord" can be Special Summoned from your hand (duo cards like "Crush Card Virus").
