• This card is another incarnation of Exodia. In the English Dub, Adrian Gecko states this card is a distant cousin of Exodia.
  • A poll held by Shonen Jump magazine suggested that the English name of this card would be "Exodius, the Ultimate Forbidden One." This was also its name in the English version of World Championship 2008.
  • The first English print of this card mistakenly uses the color scheme of a Trap Card in the Attribute circle, instead of the color scheme of a DARK monster. This subtle error was corrected in later reprints.
  • This card appears in the artwork of "Defense Seal Wall".
  • This card is the first incarnation of Exodia to have a flesh-toned body, as opposed to the armor or stone-like appearance of "Exodia the Forbidden One," "Exodia Necross" and "Exxod Master of the Guard." It is also the first incarnation of Exodia to have bare hands and feet, as all other incarnations (with the possible exception of "Exxod") are wearing boots and gloves. Also this card doesn't have the "Ankh" symbol on its chest like other incarnations.
