- "Burstinatrix"'s original flavor text says she is the only female "Elemental HERO". While this was correct at time of printing (which was The Lost Millennium), with the release of "Elemental HERO Lady Heat", "Elemental HERO Poison Rose", and Elemental HERO Shadow Mist this is no longer true. "Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster" is also female, but it is likely that Fusions didn't count.
- Her flavor text was errata'd in Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years Mega Pack to say that she was the first female "Elemental HERO".
- The costume of "Burstinatrix" resembles DC Comics heroes Argent from the Teen Titans.
- She is also most likely based of off DC Comics superheroine Starfire.
- Interestingly, on "The King of Copycats" DVD from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series, "Burstinatrix" is wearing her OCG costume and not the edited version she wears in the TCG.
- This monster appears in the artwork of the following cards:
- Unlike the other members ("Avian" WIND, "Clayman" EARTH, "Bubbleman" WATER and "Sparkman" LIGHT), this card has Fusion monster with the others elements, but she doesn't have Fusion Monster with "Elemental HERO Sparkman" ; (like Avian and Bubbleman to form "Elemental HERO Tempest" or like Clayman to form "Elemental HERO Thunder Giant").
Fusions
The Fusions of "Burstinatrix" gain her powers over fire.
"Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" combines with:
- "Elemental HERO Avian" into "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman", "Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer", and "Evil HERO Inferno Wing".
- "Elemental HERO Clayman" into "Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster" and "Evil HERO Infernal Sniper".
- "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" into "Elemental HERO Steam Healer".
- "Elemental HERO Avian", "Elemental HERO Clayman", and "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" into "Elemental HERO Electrum".
