• The fact Alice use this deck and this card is a reference of the book "The Look Through the Mirror and What Alice Found There", where Alice, the protagonist of "Alice in Wonderland" returns to Wonderland in which she assumes the role of a pawn on the white side of a chess game. Given the fact the chess-side is white, and in the image Eshila appears to be dark, it seems to give a subtle reference to Alice the duelist's own transition from her begrudging ways before she becomes "good".
