  • This card's Japanese name is Cyber Vary. It is short for Cyber Variation. This was likely a translation error due to the fact that "L" and "R" sounds are pronounced the same in Japan. (This is supported by a post that Kevin Tewart made.)
    • However, this card could also be named after the USS Valley Forge, an aircraft carrier that served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Through repeated reclassification, the ship performed a total of three different functions throughout its lifetime (a parallel to Cyber Valley's three different effects); and was awarded, amongst other things, three Navy Unit Commendations (another reference to the number 3). Also, the first two letters of the ship's original hull classification code (before it was reclassified as an amphibious assault ship) were 'CV', which are this card's initials. The 'Valley' in the Valley Forge's name is also spelt in Japanese in the same way as the 'Valley' in this card's Japanese name (ヴァリー・フォージ (Varii Fooji) vs. サイバー・ヴァリー (Saibaa Varii)).
      • This idea is further supported by the fact that this card's anime debut was in the same episode as that of Chimeratech Fortress Dragon. The beginning of the 'Forge' in the Valley Forge's name in Japanese is the same as that of the 'Fortress' in the name of"Chimeratech Fortess Dragon". (ヴァリー・フォージ (Varii Fooji) vs. キメラテック・フォートレス・ドラゴン (Kimeratekku Footoresu Doragon). Also, the Valley Forge once took part in an operation called Operation Fortress Ridge (yet another allusion to Chimeratech Fortress Dragon).
