This is the only card whose English name includes the character ú.
In Irish mythology, Cúchulainn was a great Irish hero who single-handedly defeated the army of Connacht during the Cattle Raid of Cooley.
"Cú Chulainn" translates directly from Irish to "Hound of Culainn". This is because Sétanta, after being attacked by Culainn's dog, used his hurley to knock a sliotar down the dog's throat, killing it. To make it up to Culainn, Sétanta took on the role of his dog and called himself "Cúchulainn".
This card is wielding Gáe Bulg, one of Cú Chulainn's spears.
