This card's name is a play on the Japanese word for 'Tiger' (虎, Tora) and the English word 'Dragon' which is pronounced as 'Doragon' in Japanese. Since it's a 'Tiger Dragon' (as hinted by its feline appearance), it's a 'Toragon'.
This card's English name is a combination of Tiger and Dragon.
In the anime, this card is the symbol of the friendship between Flip and Yuma.
In the anime, when this card detaches an Xyz Material, it eats it.
In the manga, this card's artwork originally showed "Baby Tiragon" with a happy expression. When Flip is unsettled, it shows an expression of terror, and once Flip decided to use it to fool people, it started showing an upset one. However, when Yuma and Flip become friends, its expression changes back to its original smiling one.
Interestingly, the artwork has the monster in its sad face like how it was Summoned in Attack Mode in the anime but its ATK and DEF would make it wise to have it in Defense Mode and in which case, it should have a happy expression.
In the Dub, despite not having horns in the TCG artwork, when this monster is summoned, it still has its horns.
