- This card can be searched via "Dark General Freed", "Dark Grepher", "Armageddon Knight", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Pyramid Turtle" and "Goblin Zombie".
- "Zombie Master" works well with "Card of Safe Return" (Traditional Format only). Not only can you use the cards drawn from "Card of Safe Return" for the cost of this card's effect, whenever "Zombie Master" revives a monster from your Graveyard, you can draw a card. However, it does not work when resurrecting a monster from your opponent's Graveyard.
- Use "Zombie Master" in conjunction with "Zombie World" to indeed Special Summon any Zombie-type Monster from either your's or your opponent's Graveyard. This is useful especially with cards whose effect require to Tribute them, such as "Exiled Force".
- With "Zombie World" on the field, you can discard and/or summon a powerful "Rare Metal Dragon" with this card. To do this, you need to activate "Zombie World", then activate "Zombie Master"'s effect to discard any level 4 or lower monster. Then it can be special summoned because it's a "Zombie" from "Zombie World".
- Using "Zombie Master" while "Zombie World" is on the field allows you to Special Summon Tuner monsters like "Rose, Warrior of Revenge" for a Level 8 Synchro or "Krebons" for a Level 6 Synchro.
- If you have a "Zombie Master" in your hand while one is on the field, discard the one in hand and special summon it. You can then special summon another monster in addition to having two Zombie Masters on the field.
- You can return "Zombie Masters" from your Graveyard to you hand with "Recurring Nightmare" which can be use to Special Summon more "Zombie Masters" if you already have one on the field.
- A fun OTK involves 2 "Zombie Master"s, "Card of Safe Return" (Traditional Format only), and "Mass Driver". Tribute the one "Zombie Master" with "Mass Driver". Discard a monster to the second "Zombie Master" to Special Summon the first, then destroy the one that used its effect and reuse the one you Special Summoned. This gets even better if you have a "Cockroach Knight" in your deck, but it is unneeded, seeing as 30 cards results in 12000 life points lost. This means you need merely 20 monster cards in your deck to deal 8000 life point damage. Another card that can help is "Pot of Avarice". Burn Damage can also be increased by using "Everliving Underworld Cannon", though unneeded.
- Using "Zombie World" and "Everliving Underworld Cannon" with this card is a useful combo.
- "Zombie Master" can also be used against Zombie decks, especially Skull Servant Decks, as it can power down "King of the Skull Servants" in SS decks, and simply take out potentially good cards from other Zombie decks.
