Card Tips:Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

Traditional Format

• Use "De-Synchro" to use this card's effect twice and cripple your opponent further.
  • Use multiple "De-Synchro" (or recycle it with "Magician of Faith" or "Magical Stone Excavation") to clear your opponent's hand, field and Graveyard.

• You can counter this card's effect with "Mirror of the Ice Barrier" or "Imperial Iron Wall".

• This card is useful in Crashbug Deck.

For Synchro Summoning

• In a Disaster Dragon Deck, you can play "Future Fusion", ditching 2 "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon"'s, and two "Red-Eyes Wyvern"'s, and any other Dragon you wish. At the end of the turn, special summon both "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon"'s, and use their abilities to special summon the appropriate Dragons for this card. Example : Another "Red-Eyes Wyvern", "Troop Dragon", and "Delta Flyer".

• Use "Urgent Tuning" during the Battle Phase after your monsters have finished attacking to have this card's effect activate and be able to attack.

• In a "Cyberdark" Deck, Normal Summon "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Keel" or "Cyberdark Edge" and Equip it with "Dragunity Phalanx" while you have a Level 3 Monster on your Field.
  • One Option would be using Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to Special Summon the Level 3 Dragon-Type Monster.

• In an "Atlantean" deck, Normal Summon "Deep Sea Diva", Special Summon "Atlantean Marksman" by its effect, inflict Battle Damage to your opponent, Special Summon "Atlantean Dragoons" by the effect of "Marksman" and, during the Main Phase 2, Synchro Summon this card.

• If you control a "Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack" and can have acess to a Level 3 Tuner (via "Emergency Teleport", for example), Synchro Summon this card using the Tuner and the Tokens.

• In a "Dragunity" Deck, with "Dragunity Phalanx" and "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite" in your Graveyard, Normal Summon "Dragunity Legionnaire" and Equip "Phalanx" to it. Have "Phalanx" Special Summon itself then Return a Spell/Trap Card to Special Summon "Zephyros" from the Graveyard.
  • Use the Effect of Dragon Ravine to Send "Phalanx" and "Zephyros" to the Graveyard by Discarding "Zephyros" and Sending "Phalanx" to the Graveyard.

• In a T.G. Deck, Normal Summon "Junk Synchron", Special Summon T.G. Striker, then Special Summon two "T.G. Warwolf" form the hand.
  • This card can be easily Synchro Summmoned by using two "T.G. Warwolf" and "Genex Ally Birdman": fisrt Normal Summon "Warwolf", then Special Summon "Birdman" by it own effect, Special Summon the first "Warwolf" by it own effect, and then Special Summon the second T.G. from your hand, then Synchro Summon for this card.

• In a Fish Synchro Deck, use the effect the of "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth" to Special Summon one "Royal Swamp Eel", two Level 2 Monster, one Level 3 or Level 4 Monster and one Level 1 Monster to the Field to Synchro Summon this Card.
  • ("Oyster Meister" or "Ocean's Keeper") + ("Piranha Army" or "Nimble Sunfish"), ("Metabo-Shark" or "Unshaven Angler") + ("Deepsea Macrotrema") are Examples for this Combination.

• In a "Gravekeeper's" Deck, use "Gravekeeper's Spy" to Special Summon a Level 4 "Gravekeeper's" Monster from your Deck. Then Normal Summon a Level 1 Tuner monster (Preferably an "Effect Veiler") to Synchro Summon this Card.

• In an "Infernity" Deck, use the Effect of "Infernity Mirage" or "Infernity Launcher" to Special Summon 1 "Infernity Beetle" and 1 "Infernity Necromancer". Use "Necromancer's" Effect to then Special Summon "Infernity Archfiend" from your Graveyard and Synchro Summon this Card.

• In a "Nordic" Deck, use the 2 Level 3 Tokens Special Summoned by the Effect of "Tanngrisnir of the Nordic Beasts" and a Level 3* (*see below) "Vanadis of the Nordic Ascendant" to Synchro Summon this Card.
  • Using the Effect of "Vanadis of the Nordic Ascendant", its Level will Become 3 by Sending a Level 3 "Tanngrisnir of the Nordic Beasts" or "Tanngnjostr of the Nordic Beasts" from your Deck to your Graveyard.
  • Using a Different Method, "Mara of the Nordic Alfar" can Send "Garmr of the Nordic Beasts", "Ljosalf of the Nordic Alfar" or "Tyr of the Nordic Champions" and "Tanngrisnir of the Nordic Beasts" or "Tanngnjostr of the Nordic Beasts" from your Hand to your Graveyard to Synchro Summon this Card.

• In a Plant Synchro Deck, Send "Dandylion" to the Graveyard with "Hand Destruction" or "Foolish Burial" and Special Summon 2 "Fluff Tokens". Normal Summon Debris Dragon and Special Summon "Dandylion" from your Graveyard to Synchro Summon this card. "Dandylion" will then Special Summon 2 more "Fluff Tokens".
  • You can Activate "Synchro Strike" to Increase its ATK by 2000 Since it was Synchro Summoned using 4 Synchro Material Monsters.

• In a general Synchro Summon Deck, while you have a "Quillbolt Hedgehog" in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon "The Tricky" by Discarding "The Fabled Cerburrel", Special Summoning it and "Quillbolt Hedgehog" to Synchro Summon this card.
  • Using a Different Method, while "Tuningware" is in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon "Cyber Dragon", then Normal Summon "Junk Synchron" and Special Summon "Tuningware" from your Graveyard using its Effect to Synchro Summon this card and Draw 1 Card.

• In a Quickdraw Turbo Deck, you can easily make this card in one turn if your hand contains "Quickdraw Synchron", "Level Eater", and "Junk Synchron". Special Summon "Quickdraw Synchron" by discarding "Level Eater". Then, use "Level Eater"'s effect, Special Summoning itself from the Graveyard and lowering "Quickdraw Synchron" to Level 4. Then, Synchro Summon "Level Eater" and "Quickdraw Synchron" into "Junk Warrior". Lastly, Normal Summon "Junk Synchron", using his effect to Special Summon "Level Eater" from your Graveyard. Lastly, Synchro all three of the monsters together to Synchro Summon this card.

• In a WATER Deck, use "Water Hazard" to Special Summon a Level 4 WATER Monster from your Hand. Normal Summon "Deep Sea Diva" and Special Summon a Level 3 Sea Serpent-Type Monster from your Deck using its Effect to Synchro Summon is Card.
  • Alternatively, you could Special Summon "Aqua Spirit"/"Fenrir", Followed by the Above Combination with "Diva".

• In a Fairy/"Agent" Deck, Special Summon "The Agent of Creation - Venus" with "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen"/"Celestial Transformation"/"Photon Lead", then Special Summon 2 "Mystical Shine Balls". Normal Summon "The Agent of Mystery - Earth" and its effect will activate to add "Master Hyperion" to your hand if "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field, then Synchro Summon this card and activate its effect and Special Summon "Master Hyperion" to destroy up to 2 cards on the field. Now you have 2 powerful monsters.

• In a "Six Samurai" Deck, Normal Summon "Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki", use its effect to Special Summon "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai", then Special Summon "Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan" by its own effect, then Synchro Summon.

• In a "Moja" Deck, Normal Summon "Kinka-Byo" and use its effect to summon Moja. Tribute Moja to Special Summon "King of the Beasts", then activate the effect of "Glow-Up Bulb" in the graveyard or use "One for One" to summon a level 1 tuner.

• In a "Mist Valley" Deck, while "Divine Wind of Mist Valley" is on the field, you Normal Summon "Mist Valley Thunderbird". Return Thunderbird to the hand to Special Summon "Genex Ally Birdman". The Thunderbird you just returned is now Special Summoned, along with another Thunderbird from your deck with the effect of "Divine Wind".

• In a "Frog" Deck, this Card can be Synchro Summoned 3 at a time using the Effect of "Substitoad" and "Fishborg Blaster":
  • By Controlling a "Substitoad" while a "Ronintoadin" and "Fishborg Blaster" are in your Graveyard, Special Summon "Ronintoadin" and "Fishborg Blaster" using their Effects (Preferably Discarding a "Frog" Monster for "Fishborg Blaster") and Tribute "Ronintoadin" to Special Summon "Des Frog" from your Deck using the Effect of "Substitoad". Special Summon "Ronintoadin" Again and Tribute it Again to Special Summon a "Beelze Frog" from your Deck using the Effect of "Substitoad" to Synchro Summon this Card using "Fishborg Blaster", "Beelze Frog" and "Des Frog". Tribute "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" for "Substitoad"'s Effect and Repeat the Process.
  • This Combination can be Restarted by using "Pot of Avarice", "Burial from a Different Dimension" and "Moray of Greed".

• You can quickly Synchro Summon this card using "Marauding Captain" to Special Summon "Junk Synchron" and then "T.G. Warwolf".
