- This card can also be used to stop anything involving cards in the Graveyard. For example, if your opponent activates "Premature Burial", you can chain "The Transmigration Prophecy" to return their target to their deck instead.
- If you return a Special Summon Only monster that would have been Special Summoned from the Graveyard, not only do they lose their monster from the Graveyard, but they also may get a dead draw.
- Use this card to put your Gladiator Beast monsters into the deck again.
- This card can be very useful if you plan to stop your opponent's "Pot of Avarice".
- This card can help recycle your cards that you need back in to your deck (ex. Special summon only cards that need to be in the deck or hand, level monsters, Exodia, ect.).
- Use this card to (partially) counter the self-Milling in a Lightsworn deck.
- In a Spell Counter Deck, use this card to return Spell cards like "Toon Table of Contents" or "Spell Power Grasp" to your deck to keep reusing them.
- Combo with Pot of Avarice and Mask of Darkness to prevent decking out for a long game.
- This can work really well with /Assault Mode monsters if they have been destroyed. By using this, you can add them back to the deck and use their strength yet again.
- You can use this card when your opponent tributes "Stardust Dragon" to prevent it from returning.
- Return cards that can be searched via other cards that let you add them to your hand. (e.g. Sangan or Reinforcement of the Army)
