This card is very useful when you have strong Spirit monsters in your deck, such as "Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi" or "Yamata Dragon". These monsters have been overlooked due to the fact that they require two Tributes to be summoned and that they return to your hand at the end of your turn but with the help of this card they will stay on the field and you can use their powerful effects anytime. "Yamata Dragon" can be particularly useful, with the ability to replenish your hand to use as discard fodder for this card's cost.
Use "Forced Requisition" to force your opponent will to discard the same number of cards you do each turn.
This card may or may not be a staple in all Spirit Decks. If mostly you have Spirit monsters which effects activate on Summoning (such as "Otohime" or "Maharaghi"), this will not be the card for you.
Discard "Ojamagic" with this card´s effect, so you will get 3 more cards to discard.
Consider "Izanagi" as an alternative to this card, with the added benefits of having no maintenance cost and allowing you to choose whether to keep a spirit monster on the field or return it to the hand.
You can combine this card with anything that removes it from the field to effectively create a version of "Compulsory Evacuation Device" that affects every face-up Spirit monster on the field, allowing you to save them from effects such as "Torrential Tribute" and "Dark Hole". In decks running "Ultimate Offering" (Traditional Format only), this is also an easy way to use effects that activate when the monsters are summoned multiple times per turn.
Combine with "Spirit's Invitation" to remove opposing monsters from the field before entering your battle phase.
