- This card can be used against an opponent monster like "Stardust Dragon". Simply use a card that would destroy a card or cards your opponent controls during your Main Phase 1, your opponent will most likely tribute it, once they do active this because it will still be your Main Phase 1, since now synchro monsters cannot be summoned after it's activation, your turn your opponent won't get it back and won't be able to revive it during their turn, freeing you up to make more moves.
- Note that this card blocks Special Summons of Synchro Monsters; it doesn't block Synchro Summons. So, it works well against cards like "Starlight Road" and "Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor"
- You can use "Soundproofed" against "Stardust Dragon"; Activate this card, then activate "Dark Hole"; Even if your opponent decide not to activate "Stardust Dragon"'s effect, it will be sent to the Graveyard and cannot be Special Summoned during the End Phase because of "Soundproofed"'s effect.
