• This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest" and "Silent Swordsman LV5".

• This can be used as a "blanket" version of "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8". Since it negates your Spell Cards as well, many Duelists prefer "Silent Swordsman LV5", since it's just unaffected by your opponent's Spell Cards. This card does not have Horus's weakness of being unable to stop the continuous effects of spell cards that were activated before the card entered the field.

• You can use this card with "Jinzo" and "Destiny Hero - Plasma to create a great lockdown.

• Angel O7 can be used as a replacement for Plasma in a lockdown, if necessary, since it's effect doesn't negate Silent Swordsman's.

• You can use this card with "Herald of Creation" to bring it back to your hand.

• Use Skill Drain so you can use spells. Destroy Skill Drain as quickly as possible to ensure that your opponent does not gain the same benefit.

• Bring it back from the Graveyard with Level Modulation.

• This card works well with a Trap Cards Deck, especially if you combine this card with a Royal Decree.
