• Use this card with "DNA Surgery" and choose Zombie to turn all your monsters into Zombie-type monsters to summon slightly easier.

• Use this card with spells such as "Creature Swap" or "Shien's Spy" on monsters such as "Pyramid Turtle". Use "Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon" to destroy the "Pyramid Turtle" to bring back the "Pyramid Turtle" to your field, as well as gaining its effect.

• This monster can also be Special Summoned from your Deck with "Pyramid Turtle", from your hand with "Call of the Mummy" or from your Graveyard with "Book of Life".

• This monster works well with Zombie World because any monster that you can destroy by battle gets turned into a Zombie, and then can be special summoned on your side of the field to attack again. In fact, Zombie World was created to use with this card's effect.

• This monster first ability (the one zombie required to tribute effect) works great with Goblin Zombie because you can use it to search for a Zombie Type monster with 1200 DEF Monster Cards, due to Goblin Zombie's effect.

• Use this card with Metalmorph and Final Attack Orders to destroy opposing monsters more easily (the opposing monster must have an ATK of at least 5400 to survive the attack).

• Combo with "Everliving Underworld Cannon".

• Though not a dragon, this monster can still be summoned by Red-Eyes Wyvern.
