- This card can help you to summon "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms".
- Use this card to summon 2 "Goblin Kings" so they will be at 2000 ATK and having a Goblin King Attack lock.
- After using this card's effect, you can combine this card with a Level 2 Tuner monster to get a Level 8 Synchro Monster and prevent Puppet Master from being attacked since its ATK is 0.
- If the original Yubel has been destroyed by its own effect, you can resurrect it with Puppet Master's Effect and then Tribute Puppet Master for Yubel's Tribute cost.
- This card can be added to your hand by Sangan from the deck, or Recurring Nightmare from the Graveyard.
- If you can't prevent this card from being attacked after its Normal Summon, you can still prevent yourself from taking Life Point damage by using Spirit Barrier.
- Tribute Sangan to Tribute Summon this card, then Special Summon the same Sangan with this card's effect. Since Sangan went from the Field to the Graveyard, its effect is activated even if it doesn't remain there, allowing you to get one more search.
- Special Summon Dark Tinker or any other lv 2 fiend type tuner and Belial - Marquis of Darkness with this card's effect. Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon. This will make it hard for your opponent to attack Stardust and destroy Belial.
- After using this card's effect, it can be a nice tribute for Crush Card Virus.
