- Use this card, then activate "Creature Swap" to gain a free monster.
- Use this card to steal face-down monsters, to eventually gain Flip-effects.
- This card can be used to fulfill the summoning requirements of Synchro Monsters, Xyz Monster, or non-specific Fusion Monsters as the monster would not be used as a Tribute.
- In addition to making an Xyz Monster, since the materials don't go to the graveyard until the monster dies or uses an effect, you can hold an important monster of theirs captive such as "T.G. Hyper Librarian", "Thunder King Rai-Oh", "Reborn Tengu" and "Treeborn Frog".
- This card works well when used with "Cyber Valley's" second effect.
- Since the summoning conditions of "Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler" and "Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler" require you to "send" monsters to the Graveyard rather than Tribute them, this card can be used to pay for their summoning condition while removing the opponent's monsters.
- You may use this card to control an opposing "Gladiator Beast" monster and "Contact Fuse" it with your own "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" or "Gladiator Beast Laquari" to bring out "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus" or "Gladiator Beast Heraklinos".
- Take an opponent's monster with this card, then return it to the hand with an effect like "Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier".
- You might not even have to use your opponent's monster. You can use "Mind Control" to temporarily remove a blocker from the field and make a direct attack.
- You can get rid of the controlled monster with "Self-Mummification".
- This card also works well with cards that make you destroy your own monsters like "Destruction Ring" or "Assault on GHQ", or remove them from play such as "Different Dimension Gate". You can also fuse them as well if their monster is a proper fusion material monster, such as if they have a warrior with "UFOroid Fighter".
- You can also use this card to send an opponent's monster to the Graveyard instead of yours when it does not count as a tribute, such as "Ruthless Denial".
- Use this with "Altar for Tribute" sent one of your opponent's monster to Graveyard and you can recover a good amount of Life Points.
- This works well with cards like "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind", "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress" or "Breaker the Magical Warrior" as you can use their effects before Synchro Summoning or Xyz Summoning.
- This card works quite well in a "Dragon" deck as you can steal away your opponent's dragon and remove it to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".
- You can also use it on Number 39: Utopia to summon Number C39: Utopia Ray for a free 2500 atk beatstick
