- This card is great to use against most Synchro Monsters, Fusion Monsters, Nomi monsters, Semi-Nomi monsters, and high level monsters Special Summoned through card effects like "Monster Reborn", "Call of the Haunted", etc..
- Some notable targets include: Dark Armed Dragon, Judgment Dragon, Level 6 or higher Synchro Monsters, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Gladiator Beast Gyzarus and Gladiator Beast Heraklinos .
- Good to use with Spirit monsters. Because special summoning is not possible for them (Yamato-no-Kami is an exception) you will not lock you own monsters.
- This card would probably be good with Koa'ki Meiru deck since they try to have only 1 level 6 or higher monster and it is a deck based around Anti-Meta.
- This card is good in Alien decks because the only affected monster they have is Alien Overlord, whom you can normal summon.
- This card can be effective against Rescue Cat Synchro.
- This card doesn't prevent high-Level monsters that have been Tribute Summoned from attacking. If your deck focuses upon Normal Summoning (such as a deck that focuses on summoning Ancient Gear Golem) you can overpower your opponent and prevent them from making use of their high-level monsters.
- This card is good in a Deck Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, in part because it's a Continuous Trap and also because of its usefulness against high leveled monsters.
