- This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest" and "Minoan Centaur".
- This card is a dead end if summoned by a Gladiator Beast and cannot summon any other Gladiator Beasts, so this card is strictly optional in a Gladiator Beast deck. It has the highest Original ATK of any Level 4 Gladiator Beast, but Gladiator Beast Laquari is nearly as strong and becomes stronger when Special Summoned. This card is best used during the very first turn, to ensure that the opponent does not use a common Beatdown 1900-ATK monster to destroy one of your weaker Gladiator Beasts.
- This card is very useful in a deck strategy that relies on Normal Monsters, where 1,900 ATK Monsters with no effects are common.
- You can use Gladiator Beast Darius's effect to bring this card back from the grave, since it doesn't have an effect to be negated.
- This card has a high defense for a 1900 attack point monster. It should not be run in a standard Gladiator Beast deck but is good in an Anti-meta Gladiator Beast deck as it can be searched for by Gladiator Beasts Proving Ground and normal summoned whilst Royal Oppression is on the field. It is also good in a beat down deck.
