It is easier to fuse this card by using "Elemental HERO Sparkman" and Fusion Substitute Monsters or "Fusion Tag" (which can overlay the name of "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" onto any other monster you control) rather than fusing "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" and fusing it with "Sparkman" again.
"Shining Flare Wingman" should be used over "Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer"; while their non-"Shining" counterparts may have to worry about it, the ATK boosting effect of the "Shining HERO" monsters makes "by battle" the least likely method of destroying them.
Try a "Future Fusion" to add some "Elemental HERO" monsters to the Graveyard, and give "Shining Flare Wingman" a boost. "Elemental HERO Electrum" is a good choice, as "Shining Flare Wingman" will get 1200 extra ATK.
If "King of the Swamp" is in-hand, either use "Polymerization" to fuse it with "Elemental HERO Sparkman" or if there is another Fusion Material on the field or in-hand, fuse it with "Sparkman" and use the effect of "King of the Swamp" to send it to the Graveyard. Then "Shining Flare Wingman" can be Fusion Summoned by using "Miracle Fusion". By doing the last mentioned, an extra Fusion Monster on the field will be gained, in addition to raising the ATK of "Shining Flare Wingman" by 300.
The effect of "Elemental HERO Prisma" can be used to substitute for "Sparkman". By doing so, not only is the lack of a "Sparkman" is covered, but another "Elemental HERO" can also be send into the Graveyard which means an additional 300 ATK and another "HERO" in the Graveyard for "Miracle Fusion".
To make "Shining Flare Wingman" even more dangerous, equip "Armory Arm" and "Junk Barrage", and finally activate "H - Heated Heart". This way, the opponent takes piercing damage and three times the burn damage.
By equipping this monster with a "Mist Body", it essentially becomes a stronger "Shining Phoenix Enforcer".
