This card can easily be the trump card of any deck that uses Insects, due to its high ATK and ease in summoning. Its ability to partially mill the opponent's deck can be useful, but it usually won't be necessary to rely upon it because this card's high ATK will often wind up simply destroying the opponent's Life Points in a matter of a few turns.
Since this card can't be summoned back from the Graveyard, use "Monster Reincarnation" to return it to your hand. In a deck dedicated to Insects, there should be no problem banishing two more Insect-Type monsters from the Graveyard to summon this card.
Combine this card with "Cross-Sword Beetle" to give it piercing; this will not only allow you to inflict damage to the opponent, but will allow this card's milling effect to activate.
This card works well with "Bee List Soldier". Send 1 other Insect-Type monster to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards, and then banish "Bee List Soldier" and the other Insect-Type monster from the Graveyard to Special Summon "Doom Dozer".
