Use this card in a "Prophecy" deck. Some of the archetype's monsters, such as "Temperance of Prophecy" have effects which make the summon of this card much easier. The "Spellbook" spell cards will allow you to use the effect of "Dark Eradicator Warlock" multiple times every turn. "The Grand Spellbook Tower" will allow you to recycle your used spells and ensure you will have cards for this monster's effect.

Using "Toon Table of Contents" with "Dark Eradicator Warlock" is one way of using his effect to the fullest. Continually using "Toon Table of Contents" to search itself out and eventually a "Toon Monster" or "Toon World" will inflict 3000 damage to your opponent.
- You can extend this combo further with cards such as Pot of Benevolence and A Feather of the Phoenix: after adding your final Toon Table of Contents to your hand, activate either to add another copy of Toon Table of Contents back into your deck, creating a potential OTK.
- Hidden Spellbook can achieve a similar effect, although it does have as much synergy with the strategy as Pot of Benevolence.

Use burn cards such as "Tremendous Fire" and "Meteor of Destruction" to inflict a large amount of damage.

You can Special Summon "Dark Eradicator Warlock" easily using "Elemental Hero Prisma" with either a "Dark Flare Knight" or "Dark Paladin" in your Extra Deck. After summoning, use its effect and send a "Dark Magician" from your deck to the Graveyard. The card will copy the name of "Dark Magician" for the turn and will be possible to Tribute for "Dark Eradicator Warlock", as it has met the requirements necessary to Special Summon it. Prisma can be easily searched via "Reinforcement of the Army", "E - Emergency Call", "Elemental Hero Stratos" or "Hero Signal".
- You can also use "Phantom of Chaos" to copy this card's effect when "Dark Eradicator Warlock" is in the graveyard.

Note that, should you run out of Normal Spell Cards, you can still lock your opponent from playing any if their Life Points are under 1000.
- An exception to this lock down is if the Normal Spell your opponent plays is one that removes this card from the field. Examples include "Smashing Ground", "Lightning Vortex", "Hammer Shot", "Dark Core" and "Back to Square One".

This card is capable of creating a First Turn Kill by utilizing spell cards to gain advantage, such as "Toon Table of Contents", "Into the Void" and "Allure of Darkness" as well as Normal Spells that cause massive damage such as "Tremendous Fire" and "Thunder Short".

A good way to Summon this card is by using "Ancient Rules", "Tribute Doll" or "Sage's Stone" to bring out "Dark Magician" and then immediately Special Summoning "Dark Eradicator Warlock". Summoning via "Tribute Doll" negates the inability to attack on the same turn, while Summoning via "Sage's Stone" doesn't require Dark Magician in your hand.
