- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Ties of the Brethren", "Painful Escape", "Transmodify", "Mimiclay", "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Chaos Zone", "Mystic Tomato", "UFOroid", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Machina Armored Unit", "Gear Gigant X", "Biofalcon" and "Road Warrior".
- Use this card to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", then activate "Megamorph" for a 9000 ATK monster, as your Life Points are lower than your opponent after 5000 Life Points is paid. This is commonly known as the Cyber-Stein OTK.
- You can also use "Chimeratech Rampage Dragon", since its Summoning Conditions are less strict than the other Chimeratechs. Plus, with "Megamorph" and its effect, that monster will be able to inflict 12600 damage at best.
- "Cyber End Dragon" is a good alternative to "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", since it inflicts Piercing Battle Damage.
- "Archfiend Black Skull Dragon" prevents your opponent from activating cards or effects when it battles.
- After using this card's effect, equip it with "Moon Mirror Shield" so that it will overpower the Monster that battles it. This goes hand in hand with "Clashing Souls", which will also allow you to perform the above OTK, with or without "Megamorph".
- Special Summon this card with "Last Will" after using the effect of "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End". Use this card's effect to summon a high-ATK Fusion Monster, and attack directly with it for an OTK(Note that while you can also use "Black Rose Dragon" as the Nuke, "Chaos Emperor Dragon" also sends all cards in the hands to the Graveyard, and inflicts 300 damage for each card it dumps).
- You can summon "Dark Magician the Dragon Knight" with this card's effect, protecting your backrow.
- In a Gemini Deck, Special Summon "Superalloy Beast Raptinus" to give your Gemini Monsters their effects.
- Afterwards, you can give your opponent a "Duck Dropper" with "Give and Take" and attack directly with your monsters for an OTK.
- In a Dragon Deck, use "The Claw of Hermos" on one of your Dragons to summon "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword", and equip it to one of your opponent's monsters. Afterwards, Special Summon "Destiny End Dragoon" with this card, and destroy your opponent's empowered monster for an OTK.
- You can use this card's effect to summon "D/D/D Oracle King d'Arc" and use its effect with cards like "Skull Invitation" or "Fatal Abacus", allowing you to set up your Graveyard and rapidly gain Life Points.
- "DNA Surgery" can also be used to make this card a Psychic-Type, then equip it with "Telekinetic Charging Cell" or activate "Brain Research Lab", so any Life Points won't be paid to use its effect.
- "Naturia Exterio" is a fairly powerful monster that can be Summoned with this effect, and grants yourself protection from your opponent's harmful Spell and Trap Cards like the aforementioned "Magic Cylinder". In addition, it is fantastic for protecting cards like "Brain Research Lab" or "DNA Surgery" if the method mentioned above is used to circumvent the cost of the effect.
- Use this card's effect to summon "Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon", returning one of your opponent's Attack Position Monsters to their hand.
- "The Last Warrior from Another Planet" is a very powerful Fusion Monster, and it can be Summoned with the effect of "Cyber-Stein" to prevents your opponent from Normal, Flip, or Special Summoning any monsters. Play "Light of Intervention" to create a Summoning lockdown with "Last Warrior".
- Afterwards, you can select "Last Warrior" via "Last Turn", preventing your opponent from Special Summoning a Monster through its effect.
- Use "Life Absorbing Machine", to regain the half of paid Life Points.
- Use two copies to regain all the cost.
- Use this card in Machine-Type Deck such as "Geargia" or "Karakuri" to OTK your opponent as both or these Deck can Xyz Summon "Gear Gigant X" very quickly to search for this card. Special Summon "Naturia Exterio" as to counter opponent's Spell Card or Trap Card.
- To avoid using up your Normal Summon, Special Summon this card with "Magnet Circle LV2". This way, you can then Tribute this card for another monster to save yourself Life Point damage if your opponent can't be defeated that turn.
- This card itself is very weak. Try to protect it with Traps, or make it stronger with Spell Cards, because if your LP are very low after using its effect and your opponent survives, they might finish this Duel by destroying this card. "Cyber-Stein" could also be Tributed for the effect of "Crush Card Virus" after using its effect, so there won't be any vulnerable should your opponent survive your attack.
- An OTK can be performed with this card when used to Special Summon a monster with 4000 ATK or more and used with "Ring of Destruction" and "Barrel Behind the Door". A First Turn Kill was previously possible via the use of "Temple of the Kings", prior to the 2015 errata of both it and "Ring of Destruction".
