• Works brilliantly with a Handless Combo Deck.

• This card would actually be ideal for a deck that runs Ojamagic.By discarding Ojamagic you can get 3 more cards in your hand to discard for his effect.

• This card can be quickly Synchro Summoned by using Rescue Cat's effect for two Level 3 Beasts (Only one tuner monster)

• Use Degenerate Circuit with this monster to remove your opponent's monsters from play.

• In a Dragon deck, use Super Rejuvenation to replenish your hand after discarding Dragon Monsters to use this card's effect.

• Use "Forced Requisition" to make your opponent discard as you discard.

• This card works well with Premature Burial. You can reuse Premature Burial many times to gain field advantage. Also, you can combine this combo with Destiny Hero - Disk Commander for drawing many cards or Rescue Cat for another Synchro Monster. This can only be done in Traditional Format since Premature Burial and Destiny Hero - Disk Commander were banned as of September 2008.

• This card can return Swords of Revealing Light or Swords of Concealing Light to your hand.

• Morphing Jar works well with this card.

• This card works well in a plant deck. Activate Card of Safe Return, then play Miracle Fertilizer to bring back a plant monster from your grave. You will draw a card thanks to COSR. Then you can discard a card by Brionac's effect to return Fertilizer to your hand, which you can then play again and use its effect, the entire time not loosing any hand advantage. Do this numerous times to swarm the field with powerful plants such as Gigaplant and Tytannial, Princess of Camellias or even Synchro Summon 3 powerful monsters in 1 turn.

• The previous combo can be used as a burn OTK. By using Brionac, Card of Safe Return, and Miracle Fertilizer, bring back a tuner and a non-tuner monster, and Synchro Summon into Dark Strike Fighter. Then continue your reviving of plants, each time using Dark Strike Fighter's effect to tribute off the monsters to burn your opponent until they are out of Life Points.
  • Brionac can also be used in another burn OTK by reviving Sacred Crane with Symbol of Heritage once you have 3 in your graveyard, sending Symbol of Heritage back to your hand, using Sacred Crane's draw effect when special summoned, and Mass Driver or Toon Cannon Soldier to tribute Sacred Crane. This combo also works with 3 copies of Molten Zombie in your graveyard.

• This card can be used in a lightsworn deck. You can use this cards ability to return your cards to your hand while sending different lightsworn monsters to the graveyard. Then you can summon Judgement Dragon and then use Judgement Dragon's ability with out destroying your own cards. Or you can return lightsworn monsters from the field to your hand then discard them for Brionac's effect.

• Use this card in a Exodia Deck/Burn Deck; Use Rescue Cat for deck thinning and searching out X-Saber Airbellum and another LV3-Beast, Synchro Summon this card. Then play Card of Safe Return, Spell Economics, Mass Driver. Now you got two chances to win: Either you draw all pieces of Exodia(Because of COSR you always draw when you revive with Premature Burial, and Spell Economics prevents you from paying life points), or you burn down your opponent with Mass Driver.

• This card can be easily be summoned via Marauding Captain and a level 3 Tuner Monster. A similar combo can be performed with Level Warrior and a level 2 Tuner Monster.

• If you run a Crystal Beast deck, and you have four Crystal beasts in your spell/trap zone along with Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins, use this card to draw out Exodia, by discarding one card to return Rainbow Ruins to your hand and play Rainbow Ruins again to draw another card.

• Use Brionac in a Zombie Synchro deck to discard cards like Plaguespreader Zombie or Mezuki while tuning Goblin Zombie with Krebons or Plaguespreader Zombie. Goblin Zombie will search for other Zombies (ie. Zombie Master or another Mezuki) for you to discard. Use Mezuki and Plaguespreader Zombie to revive Zombies from grave, and tune again. When your Mezuki and Plaguespreader are removed from play, use Burial from a Different Dimension to send them to the Graveyard, and repeat the process. This strategy has a high rate of pulling off OTKs.

• As long as you successfully draw each turn, you can use this card's effect to continuously play cards like "Swords of Revealing Light" in Stall decks by discarding the drawn card to return Swords to your hand each turn.

• This card can be usefull in Spell Counter Decks. By returning Continuous, Equip and Field Spell Cards back to your hand each turn, you can quickly generate Spell Counters on Monsters on the Field. If you discard low level Spellcaster type Monsters like "Frequency Magician," you can bring them back with "Magical Exemplar" for the Synchro Summon of "Tempest Magician."

• Maintain your hand advantage by combining the effects of this card with Yamata Dragon.

• A quick way to summon this card is to use Summoner Monk to search out Road Synchron. Road Synchron's level will be reduced by two since it is not being used to synchro summon Road Warrior.
