• "Strike Slash", "H - Heated Heart", "Big Bang Shot", "Metalmorph", "Curse of Anubis", "Blackwing Armor Master","Armory Arm","Ebon Arrow","Armed Changer"and "Honest" maximize "Asura Priest"'s Effect Creating possibles "OTK"s. Also the drawback from being returned to your hand at the End Phase can be used in conjuction with "Athena"'s Effect to deal 600 points of Damage every single turn.

• "Nightmare Archfiends", "Ojama Trio" and "Revival Gift" combinated create eight tokens allowing you to attack eight times with asura. Using the proper cards to increase Asura's ATK, you can devastate your opponent's life points dealing massive Damage in each of the battles and extra Burn Damage for each "Nightmare Archfiends"'s tokens and "Ojama Trio"'s tokens destroyed.

• This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest".

• Summon your "Asura Priest" and use "Creature Swap" to take one opponent's monster. At the end of your turn, Asura returns to your hand.

• Activate "Final Attack Orders" then chain it with "Ojama Trio". Have Asura Priest equipped with a very strong equip card, e.g ("United We Stand", "Mage Power") and attack all the Tokens. Remember everytime you destroy an Ojama Token, your opponent looses 300. The best one to use is either Axe of Despair or Black Pendant, as both these ensure an OTK.

• If your opponent activates "Scapegoat", you can counter by equipping "Asura Priest" with "Big Bang Shot", dealing exactly 8,400 damage.

• This and the other Spirit Monsters can waste Light and Darkness Dragon's effect.Due the spirit bounce effect is obligatory during the End Phase, LaDD will negate again and again the effect until have a low ATK.

• Use Asura with multiple Honest to destroy all your opponents monsters on the field, this is usually enough to cause an OTK. Be sure to attack the strongest monster on the opponent's field first.

• Using this card with Honest will stop opponents lockdown with Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, Jinzo and Destiny Hero - Plasma, and if your opponent has any other monster in attack position(like Prime Material Dragon) it will make an OTK(remember to attack first Destiny Hero - Plasma so that you get Asura Priest's Effect to attack all other monsters).
