• This is a good "problem-solver" card that is relatively easy to summon.
• This card works well with "DNA Transplant". Once all monsters on the field are a single Attribute (other than DARK), no monster can destroy Catastor.
• Use Staunch Defender so you can destroy all of the opponent's non-Dark Monsters.
• "Junk Synchron" can easily summon this monster. So can Deep Sea Diva.
• Since face-down cards are immune to its effect, use a card like "Light of Intervention" or "Swords of Revealing Light" to prevent your opponent from exploiting this weakness.
• Equip this card with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" to easily destroy two monsters your opponent controls.
• This card is an excellent way to prevent the opponent from using "Honest", since the opponent's monster is destroyed before damage calculation.
• When using this card, beware of high-ATK DARK monsters, such as Cosmo Queen or Summoned Skull, and Caius the Shadow Monarch.
• This card is very easy to summon using "Alien Ammonite" to special summon a level 4 "Alien" monster from your graveyard, then tuning for "Ally of Justice Catastor" instead of "Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar".
• You can use "Sinister Sprocket" to Synchro Summon this monster with any level 4 monster and destroy a face-up spell or trap card.
