I'm still a little confused on this card. Are you able to use Stardust Dragon's effect even thought the effect is negated or can you use it immediately when it's summoned to the field. I'm just wondering on how the timing works. :3 --LionofTwilight 01:51, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Just read the rulings for Wicked Rebirth.PoirotH 04:31, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

I've read them and I'm just wondering about the timing of activating Stardust's effect after Wicked Rebirth is activated. Can you activated Stardust's effect anytime after being summoned or just at the moment of being summoned. :3 --70.114.230.34 05:36, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

You can activate its effect as soon as Stardust returns to the field.Ex:Stardust Dragon is Special Summoned with Wicked Rebirth, the opponent activates Bottomless Trap Hole;you can now activate Stardust's effect,it will leave the field, negate Bottomless Trap Hole and return during the End Phase.PoirotH 05:57, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

That's exactly what I was talking about. Thank You! :3 --LionofTwilight 05:59, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Can Stardust legal active its effect.[]

The ruling is and I "copy and paste": Wicked Rebirth RGBT-EN067 (Continuous Trap Card) Pay 800 Life Points, select 1 Synchro Monster from your Graveyard, and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. Its effect is negated, and this turn it cannot declare an attack. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is destroyed, destroy this card. Paying 800 Life Points is a cost to activate “Wicked Rebirth.” This card targets the Synchro Monster, both when you activate this card and while the monster is on the field. If “Royal Decree” becomes active while “Wicked Rebirth” is active, the Synchro Monster’s effect is restored, and it can attack this turn.

If you Special Summon “Stardust Dragon” with “Wicked Rebirth,” you can Tribute “Stardust Dragon” for its effect. After it is Tributed, “Stardust Dragon” is no longer targeted by “Wicked Rebirth.” Therefore its effect is restored and applied normally

(so it negates an effect and is Special Summoned back to the field during the End Phase). The Special Summon of “Wicked Rebirth” is not a Synchro Summon, so it cannot be used to Special Summon monsters like “Trident Dragon.”

However, I find it highly unlikely for stardust dragon to be able to negate and destroy wicked rebirth by being tributed; because the trap card was all-ready activated when stardust dragon entered the field. Clockmor 03:08, January 22, 2010 (UTC)

The ruling refers to "Stardust Dragon" using its effect to negate a different card. "Stardust Dragon" can't negate "Wicked Rebirth". --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 03:14, January 22, 2010 (UTC)
