Mentions in Other Rulings

• Brain Golem: The effect of “Sphere of Chaos” is negated if “Brain Golem” is on the field, so “Sphere of Chaos” is not treated as a LIGHT monster.

• Light End Dragon: You can use monsters with multiple Attributes, like “Sphere of Chaos,” to Synchro Summon “Light End Dragon” or “Dark End Dragon.”

OCG Rulings

• For the effect which adds 1 Level 3 monster to your hand when this card is successfully Tribute Summoned: this is an Optional Trigger Effect.

• For the effect which prevents "Sphere of Chaos" from being destroyed by battle once per turn:
  • This is a Continuous Effect. Players cannot chain to it.
  • Damage Calculation is still applied normally when this card wouldn't be destroyed by battle.
  • If the effect is applied, and then "Sphere of Chaos" is destroyed, and then returned to the field during the same Battle Phase, then you can apply the effect a second time. It is the same if the effect is applied and later "Sphere of Chaos" is flipped face-down.
  • The effect is mandatory. You cannot choose to not apply it.

• For the effect which also treats it as a LIGHT-Attribute monster:
  • This is a Continuous Effect. Players cannot chain to it.
  • You can use this card as a Synchro Material Monster for both "Light End Dragon" and "Dark End Dragon".

• While the effect of "Brain Golem" is active, "Sphere of Chaos" will only be treated as a DARK monster. It will not be treated as a LIGHT monster.
