OCG Rulings[]
- Not being able to conduct your Battle Phase is part of the effect that halves your opponent's Life Points.[1]
- Detaching 1 Xyz Material and sending the monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard is a cost to activate the effect that halves your opponent's Life Points.[1]
- While "Macro Cosmos" is applying its effect so that cards cannot be sent to the Graveyard, the effect of this card cannot be activated.[1]
- "Number C39: Utopia Ray" is treated as a "Number" monster, therefore, the effect of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" can be activated targeting a "Number C39: Utopia Ray" in your Graveyard.[2]
- If "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" has its effects negated by the effect of "Skill Drain", it cannot be equipped with a "Number" monster. Therefore, the "Number" monster equipped to "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. Also, if "Skill Drain" is activated in a chain to the effect of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis", since the effect of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" is negated, it is not equipped with the targeted "Number" monster and the target "Number" monster remains in the Graveyard.[3]
- If you control multiple copies of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis", the equipped "Number" monster cannot be switched to a different copy of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" with the effect of "Tailor of the Fickle".[4]
- The effect of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" is not considered to inflict Effect Damage. Therefore, even if the effect of "Rainbow Life" is active, it does not increase Life Points.[5]
- Even if "Book of Moon" or "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" is activated in a chain to the effect of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" that halves the opponent's Life Points so that "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" is flipped face-down or it leaves the field, the effect that halves the opponent's Life Points is still applied and the player cannot conduct a Battle Phase this turn. Also, if "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" is flipped face-down or it leaves the field after resolving its effect that halves the opponent's Life Points, since the effect has already resolved, the player cannot conduct a Battle Phase this turn.[6]
