OCG Rulings[]
- Even monster on the field becomes 3 or less during this card's resolution, destruction effect still resolves.[1]
- Junk Collector: The effect of "Junk Collector" activated banishing a Normal Trap Card is treated as the effect of an Effect Monster. Thus, if you activate the effect of "Junk Collector" by banishing "Needle Ceiling" while "Elemental Hero Wildheart" is on the field, then the effect will destroy "Elemental Hero Wildheart".[2]
Previously Official Rulings[]
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been deemed unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - If the number of monsters on the field is reduced below 4 after activation of "Needle Ceiling" (by chaining "Ring of Destruction", etc.), the effect of "Needle Ceiling" still resolves (see Activation & Targeting Eligibility on the Advanced FAQ).
