OCG Rulings[]
- This card cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
- The effect of "Meteorain" is applied to all monsters you control during the turn it is activated. It is also applied to monsters that are Summoned after this card's activation.[1]
Previously Official Rulings[]
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been deemed unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - You can activate "Meteorain" during your turn at any point from the Draw Phase to the end of your Battle Phase; you cannot activate it during the Damage Step, Main Phase 2, your End Phase, or your opponent's turn.
- "Meteorain's" effect applies to all your monsters. Monsters that you Summon, Flip Summon, Special Summon, etc. after activating "Meteorain" still get its effect.
- When you attack with a monster that has "Meteorain's" bonus, and you attack a Defense Position "Amazoness Swordswoman" [sic], then you will take the Battle Damage to your Life Points.
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Amazoness Swords Woman: ... the controller of "Spear Dragon" takes damages when "Spear Dragon" battles "Amazoness Swordswoman" [sic] (or the controller ... who used "Meteorain").
