TCG Rulings
- Paying 800 Life Points is a cost. "Krebons’" effect does not target.[1]
- If "Asura Priest" attacks "Krebons" and "Krebons'" effect is used to negate the attack, "Asura Priest" cannot attack that same "Krebons" again during the same Battle Phase.[1]
- If an effect is chained that flips "Krebons" face-down, its effect still resolves and the attack is still negated.[2]
OCG Rulings
- Paying 800 Life Points is a cost to activate the effect. The effect does not target.[3]
- "Asura Priest" can only attack each monster once. If "Asura Priest" attacks "Krebons" and "Krebons" uses its effect to negate the attack, then "Asura Priest" cannot attack the same "Krebons" a second time. However, it may still attack other monsters.[4]
- If "Gladiator Beast Alexander" attacks "Krebons" or "Ally of Justice Catastor" and its effect activates, then if "Gladiator Beast War Chariot" negates the activation of the effect destroys it, then damage calculation is not performed. Thus, at the end of the Battle Phase you cannot activate the effect of "Gladiator Beast Alexander" which Special Summons another "Gladiator Beast" monster from the Deck.[5]
